About Ban Ja Bo
Ban Ja Bo is a traditional Black Lahu village perched at 900 meters elevation along a sheer limestone spine 15 kilometers north of Route 1095. Famous for its morning sea of mist that rolls beneath traditional wooden stilt houses and its cliffside noodle deck where guests dine with legs dangling over the precipice.

What It's Actually Like
Exhilarating, scenic, and cool. Early mornings (06:00 - 08:30) attract sunrise visitors to the noodle viewpoint; by 10:00, the mist burns off to reveal green karst peaks, and the village returns to quiet domestic rhythms of weaving and corn drying.

Access Notes
Turnoff is at km 147 on Route 1095 (4 km west of Soppong), then 11 km uphill on rural road 4016. Fully paved with steep gradients.

Spectacular mist inversions occur frequently from September through February. Mornings in Dec - Jan can drop to 8°C - 12°C.
